Boldly Going

As publicly announced at Shore Leave last night... I am writing a new novel in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series! The title is Losing the Peace, and it follows Capt. Jean-Luc Picard and his band of Merry Men in the aftermath of the world-changing events of Dave Mack's Destiny trilogy. This will, of course, be the first paper publication I will have written all on my own -- or as Mr. Mack said to me after the announcement, "You're gonna own this bitch!" (I almost just wrote "botch" right now, which perhaps is closer to the truth.)

I am, of course a) stoked, and b) nervous as hell. More the latter than the former.
