So, SO Out of the Loop...

Why is everybody on my friends list making such a big to-do about watching Wesley Crusher's send-off episode of TNG this weekend...?

The Fourth of July.

Our ancestors forced the Native Americans off their land and onto reservations. "Journey's End" shows that our descendents forced them off the reservations and onto planets in deep space.

We watch "Journey's End," to remind ourselves of the great crimes we have perpetrated. We watch "Journey's End" to remember that our independence came with a great and tragic human cost.

Wesley Crusher took a stand. If only the rest of us could be that brave.

No idea. Maybe Spike is showing it? I remember liking the episode. Maybe he's talked about it on his blog.

If this isn't a joke...

"Journey's End" is the title of the season finale of Doctor Who, shown yesterday in the UK.
